Philippine Batteries Inc (Motolite) is looking for a project manager.

Job Summary

 
Project manager is responsible for ensuring the completion of a project on time, within budget and set metric parameters. He ensures that project objectives are met and all project team members are doing their job according to standards. This includes but not limited to manufacturing efficiencies, IT initiatives / deployment, M&A activities, new ventures (solar, wind, energy storage, electric vehicles). 

 

Job Description

  • Reports to the VP of Corporate Development of the US subsidiary based in Los Angeles, CA but will be based in Manila
  • Leads planning and/or implementation of projects.
  • Coordinates with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meets with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Carries out risk assessment.
  • Prepares status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Establishes project communication channels with Project Stakeholders – before, during, and after execution and completion of the project.
  • Submits project status to Project Stakeholders, prepares and presents a synthesized and logical project updates and developments to Management and cross functional teams on a regular basis, and consults them for alignment and adherence to standards.
  • Facilitates change requests, if and when necessary, and communicates the impact of said change. 
  • Conductspre and post project evaluation, facilitates identification of learning project elements.
  • Requires occasional travel to the US 

 

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, and/or master degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with at least a minimum of 5 year experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Ability to lead teams of various sizes and see them through to project completion
  • Solid understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Effective communication and presentation skills – has the ability to craft and do a synthesized and logical project presentation
  • Proven leadership and all level management skills 
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in office programs
